Position Overview
Results‐driven Inside Sales Representative to support digital marketing and advertising services for businesses in St. Catharines, ON. The role involves consulting small to medium‐sized businesses to maximize their advertising impact on a leading social media platform.
Location & Work Model
St. Catharines, ON – 100% on‐site.
Contract Details & Compensation
- 12‐month contract with possibility of extension.
- Hourly rate: $20.43.
- Joining bonus: $1,000 total ($500 after 4 weeks and $500 after 12 weeks). Taxes apply.
Schedule & Training
Paid training: 8 weeks, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST (no time off permitted). Production hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM EST (35–44 hours/week).
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high‐spending advertisers from small to medium‐sized businesses.
- Research and understand verticals/markets and client business models.
- Identify sales opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet client goals.
- Personalize recommendations using vertical expertise.
- Consult on optimal product adoption to improve client experience.
- Proactively outreach (outbound calls) and engage reactively via phone and email to assess product performance.
- Build long‐term relationships and develop marketing and sales strategies.
- Capture market intelligence and develop expert knowledge of social media advertising solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of dedicated, quota‐based sales experience.
- Desired backgrounds: Inside Sales, B2B Sales, Digital Ad Sales, Outbound Telecommunications, or Retail Mobile/Telecom Sales.
- Retail sales, inbound support, marketing, or digital admin experience not considered.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
Skills
Exceptional outbound phone presence, solutions‐oriented mindset, and ability to cross‐sell/upsell in a multi‐touch environment.
