Description

The Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach ENME 473 L01 Fund Kinematic & Dyna Machines in the Fall 2026 term.

Course Description

Basic mechanisms and linkages in machinery. Kinematics and kinetics of mechanisms. Cam design and dynamic analysis. Ordinary and planetary gear trains.

Course Schedule

  • Lecture: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 1:00 PM – 1:50 PM

Qualifications

  • At least a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated background in the subject matter related to the course.
  • Very good prior teaching performance or potential for very good to excellent teaching ability.
