Calgary Courier Delivery Assistant

Help complete courier pickups and deliveries from Purolator's Calgary South depot. Flexible availability supports varied hours, with at least 15 scheduled hours weekly when used.

As a Driver Helper, you work independently and alongside a Courier during customer shipment service. The position is on the road and does not involve operating a vehicle. Your work includes handling packages, updating statuses, communicating in English, and maintaining a clean vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with couriers on shipment pickups and deliveries
• Meet drivers in directed service areas
• Handle customer shipments throughout assigned duties
• Protect package security during transportation activities
• Organize and clean the vehicle

Requirements:

• Flexibility required as hours will vary
• Availability for scheduled work when used
• English proficiency for stakeholder communications
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, and climb
• Ability to lift and lower up to 70 pounds
