The department serves as a cornerstone of the organization's cancer program and delivers radiation oncology care to a high volume of new cancer patients annually across multiple locations.

As Chair, the individual will advance the department's strategy across clinical care, research, education, and operations in close partnership with cancer center and system leadership.

Responsibilities include strengthening multidisciplinary integration, enhancing academic productivity, elevating the department's national profile, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture grounded in innovation, scientific rigor, and patient-centered care.

The Chair will also oversee quality, safety, and operational performance while championing innovation in care delivery and research, including the continued advancement of precision oncology and AI-enabled capabilities.

A key priority is faculty growth and development through strategic recruitment, mentorship, and retention, alongside expanded clinical trials, translational research, and educational programs.
