Position Summary
Innovex is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and oversee payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for a global workforce while helping to process these payrolls. This role will be responsible for managing payroll activities throughout North America and Latin America, partnering with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to deliver a best-in-class employee experience.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in multi-country payroll administration, payroll compliance, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), and process optimization. This individual will play a key role in supporting business growth, payroll harmonization initiatives, system implementations, and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Global Payroll Operations
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, and other locations as assigned.
- Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and on schedule while maintaining compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate payroll activities with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers.
- Oversee payroll calendars, approvals, funding requirements, and payroll reconciliations.
Payroll Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and international payroll regulations.
- Manage payroll audits, tax filings, year-end reporting, and statutory submissions.
- Establish and maintain strong payroll controls, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor legislative changes impacting payroll operations and implement required updates.
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- Support payroll system implementations, upgrades, testing, and optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with HRIS teams to improve payroll processes, reporting, integrations, and data accuracy.
- Assist with payroll-related configuration reviews and system enhancements.
LATAM Payroll Management
- Oversee payroll operations throughout Latin America, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations and employment requirements.
- Manage statutory payments and reporting, including country-specific requirements such as social security contributions, severance obligations, bonuses, profit-sharing programs, vacation provisions, and other mandated payments.
- Partner with local HR and Finance teams to address payroll-related issues and employee inquiries.
- Coordinate payroll harmonization and standardization efforts across the region.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-country payroll management.
- 2+ years of payroll leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, wage and hour laws, and payroll accounting principles.
- Experience managing payroll operations across Latin America.
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese.
- Experience with payroll harmonization, M&A integrations, and global HRIS implementations.
