Make a significant impact as an Accountant with the Aboriginal Housing Society, where your role will focus on accurate financial reporting and strategic budgeting to support Indigenous housing initiatives. Select People Solutions seeks a dedicated Accountant to assist the Aboriginal Housing Society with its financial operations. You will prepare vital financial statements and support budgeting processes, working alongside the Executive Director to ensure accuracy and compliance. Your contribution will help foster greater community well-being through effective resource management. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate the preparation of financial statements and reports • Support budgeting and forecasting activities diligently • Oversee financial transactions and ensure operational accuracy • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end reports • Provide comprehensive support to the Executive Director as needed Requirements: • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business • Minimum 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience • Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel • Understanding of Indigenous cultures and compliance requirements • Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check Bring your accounting skills to a role devoted to enhancing Indigenous housing solutions at the Aboriginal Housing Society. #J-18808-Ljbffr
