A confidential manufacturing company in the East Valley is seeking an experienced Buyer II to support purchasing and supplier management for a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
Purchase materials, components, and outside services
Manage supplier relationships and delivery schedules
Obtain quotes and negotiate with vendors
Track shortages and help resolve material issues
Coordinate with production, planning, engineering, and quality teams
Support MRP, inventory, and production scheduling activities
Qualifications
~5+ years of purchasing or buyer experience in manufacturing
~ Experience with MRP, inventory control, and production planning
~ Strong supplier communication and negotiation skills
~ Proficiency with Excel and Word
~ Aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred
~ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred
