Pay: $115,000 - $170,000 per year

Job description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Labor and Employment Law Attorney with 2-8 years' experience to join our practice. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience and be comfortable working with employers on employment counseling and compliance issues. Corporate transactional and/or construction experience are considered advantageous. The attorney will play a key role in serving our clients and contributing to the growth of our practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to employers on a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including hearings, arbitrations and trials.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Minnesota.
  • 2-8 years of experience practicing law.
  • Demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
