Role Description

This is an on-site, role for a Dispensing Optician based in San Francisco, CA. The Dispensing Optician will assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear, fit and adjust lenses, and provide guidance on proper lens care. Additional responsibilities include ensuring an exceptional customer service experience, collaborating with optometrists to meet visual needs, managing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Optics and Optometry, including understanding prescriptions and lens specifications
• Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to provide exceptional care and build lasting relationships
• Familiarity with Eye Exams and the ability to assist patients throughout their optical journey
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to explain lens and eyewear options to patients
• Attention to detail and precision in lens fitting and adjustments
• Relevant certification or licensure in opticianry is preferred but not required
• Previous experience in an optical or healthcare setting is an advantage
