About the Role

As a Journeyman Plumber / Gasfitter B, you'll perform residential and light commercial plumbing and gas-fitting installations, repairs, maintenance, and service calls. You'll represent GlacierFlow professionally while delivering outstanding workmanship and customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot gas appliances and gas piping.
• Diagnose plumbing, heating, and gas system issues efficiently.
• Perform water heater installations and replacements (tank and tankless).
• Install plumbing fixtures, piping, valves, drainage, and water supply systems.
• Complete maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Ensure all work complies with Alberta Plumbing and Gas Codes.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service reports, job notes, and documentation.
• Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Work safely while following company safety procedures.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Alberta Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to quality workmanship and professionalism

Preferred

• Experience with residential service plumbing
• Experience with water heaters, boilers, and hydronic heating systems
• Backflow certification (asset)
