Materials Handler
The Material Handler is responsible for the movement, storage, and tracking of materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. This role supports daily operations by receiving incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, supplying production lines, and preparing outgoing customer orders. Hiring for full-time shifts: MondayFriday, 6:30a.m. 3:00 p.m. The Distribution Center is located on Boone Avenue in Brooklyn Park.
This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor/Warehouse Manager.
What You Will Be Doing
- Receive, unload, and move incoming materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, Wave equipment, and other material handling tools
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies
- Store and organize materials in designated warehouse locations while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Transport materials, components, and finished goods between warehouse and production areas
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials for manufacturing jobs according to production schedules and BOM requirements
- Accurately complete inventory transactions and material movements within the warehouse management system
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed
- Prepare customer orders by picking, packing, labeling, and staging shipments for domestic and international delivery
- Operate wrapping, banding, and labeling equipment to secure shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
- Support other warehouse and logistics functions as assigned

Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Ability to read and understand shipping and inventory documents
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after training
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
- Six months to one year of warehouse or material handling experience
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, Wave equipment, or other powered industrial equipment
- Experience working with inventory or warehouse management systems
Physical Demands

Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally assist with lifting up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting
Occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, or crouching

According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as Non-Exempt.
Pay Range: $19.03-22.53
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
