Compliance Requirements

Due to Ontario Long-Term Care regulations, candidates must have the following documents before starting shifts. Candidates who already have complete compliance documentation will be prioritized for upcoming shifts.

• Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) – issued within the last 6 months
• 2-Step TB Test – issued within the last 6 months
• COVID-19 Vaccination Proof
• Influenza Vaccination Proof (current season)
• RPN Diploma
• CNO registration number
• CPR and 1st Aid
• N95 Mask Fit Test
• WHMIS Certificate
• Worker Health & Safety Awareness (WHSA) Certificate
• Government‐issued ID
• 3 Professional References

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with LTC standards and facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor residents' health status and report changes to the healthcare team
• Document care and maintain accurate clinical records
• Support and supervise Personal Support Workers (PSWs)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high‐quality resident care
• Follow infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices
