Remote PeopleSoft HR Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced PeopleSoft HR Developer for a long-term engagement with a premier Federal Government client. This is a remote position, open to candidates based anywhere in the United States.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft HCM development and architecture.
• Must be a US Citizen and security clearance is mandatory.
• Previous Federal Government/Public Sector experience is highly preferred.
• This role requires a deep understanding of federal systems, security protocols, and compliance standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities (aligned with USA market standards):

• Analyze, design, code, test, debug, and implement complex PeopleSoft HCM applications (Core HR, Workforce Administration, Benefits Administration, Time & Labor, etc.).
• Develop and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft and other federal systems using PeopleTools, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and web services.
• Create and modify PeopleSoft reports using SQR, PS Query, XML Publisher, and BI Publisher.
• Perform application upgrades, patches, and fixes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with functional analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
• Ensure all development adheres to federal security mandates (NIST, FISMA) and best practices for data integrity and system performance.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
