Safety Technician

We are seeking a Safety Technician with 58 years of experience to support workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for conducting inspections, supporting safety programs, delivering training, and helping maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Identifying workplace hazards and assisting in implementing corrective and preventative measures
  • Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs and emergency response procedures
  • Monitoring and maintaining safety equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance standards
  • Documenting and reporting safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Delivering safety training sessions and employee briefings to promote safe work practices and awareness
  • Partnering with supervisors and safety advisors to address safety concerns and implement effective solutions
  • Staying current on OSHA regulations, industry standards, and safety best practices to support proactive risk management

Qualifications:

  • Level III Safety Technician with 58 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience conducting inspections, audits, and incident investigations
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced onsite environment
