Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician

Livewell Animal Hospital Shaw is looking for a Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative and compassionate team!

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting our doctors and delivering high-quality medical care. Whether you're assisting in surgery, performing technical skills, or educating pet parents, you'll be an essential part of our hospital's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
• Perform and support anesthesia monitoring and surgical procedures
• Prepare patients and surgical areas for procedures
• Collect and process lab samples (fecal, urine, cytology)
• Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and surgical instruments
• Provide clear communication and compassionate care to clients and patients

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license required
• Prior clinical experience preferred
• Strong technical, communication, and multitasking skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
