Travel: Local/regional routes as assigned

Compensation: $23$25/hour

Job Summary

The Class A Commercial Driver supports reliable, safe delivery and hauling operations by executing assigned routes, maintaining equipment readiness, and ensuring compliance with DOT and company safety policies. This role is essential to customer commitments and yard throughput.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and professionally on assigned routes.
  • Complete DVIRs and basic vehicle checks; report defects promptly.
  • Maintain logs and documentation as required by DOT and company policy.
  • Coordinate with dispatch/yards to optimize scheduling and reduce turnaround time.
  • Ensure proper load securement and safe material handling practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Class A Commercial Driver's License Required.
  • Demonstrated safe driving history and commitment to compliance.
  • Ability to work in an operations environment and communicate effectively with dispatch.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience hauling in materials/recycling/construction environments.
  • Familiarity with local/regional routes in the Austin area.

Work Environment / Schedule

  • Route-based work with yard time; schedule set by dispatch/operations.
  • Ability to work +/- 60 hours per week to include Saturdays with overtime (hours not guaranteed)
