Position Summary

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly articulating each step of the process with empathy
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic imaging
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education and Certification Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skill Set

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques as well as effective patient positioning
