Every IDEAL product comes with the promise made by our founder more than 90 years ago./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliFollow all safety procedures./liliPerform varied warehouse tasks under the regular direction of the Supervisor and/or Lead person, including but not limited to:/liulliAccurately processing customer orders into shipments utilizing bar-code equipment/liliOperating a powered industrial truck to move and store material as required/liliLoading and unloading of trucks/liliReceive inventory and validate quantities against purchase order/liliStocking of shelves with material/liliSetup and run Print and Apply machinery/liliGeneration of DOT required documentation, including the Bill of Lading/liliPackaging of freight shipments to prevent product damage. This includes shrink wrap, banding, and proper carton stacking techniques/li/ulliFollow all quality procedures and instructions./liliMaintain housekeeping in the work area./liliOther related duties as directed by management./liliRegular, predictable attendance is essential to teamwork, timely information exchange, and meeting productivity requirements./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pSkills/Competencies Required :/pulliMust be able to follow verbal and written multi-step directions for semi-complex tasks./liliVisual acuity and hand dexterity to package and assemble a variety of materials is required./liliFor selected tasks, color and depth perception may be required./liliAbility to perform routine computer data entry and queries is required./liliAble to work effectively in a team environment./liliRequires the ability to read and follow job instructions, complete written forms, and effectively communicate with others./liliReliable, predictable attendance is an essential duty of the job./li/ulpEducation/Experience:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED./liliSix months of experience working in a warehouse is desired./li/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliMust be able to frequently lift 10 lbs. up to 64 inches, occasionally lift up to 25 lbs for up to 64 inches, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, lift and carry 42 lb bucket 10ft, push and pull up to 50 lbs of force at waist height. This capability will either be determined from a physical exam, or verifiable past performance./liliMust be able to continuously stand/walk and/or sit during a 9 - 10-hour shift, frequent squatting/crouching, reach, and bend. Frequently step up and down 12 step and manipulate hand controls of mechanical lift./li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliHot/cold temperatures based on seasonal variations/liliMay be humidity, noise, odors, dust/liliSafety precautions are a must to minimize potential exposure to mechanical hazards./li/ulh3Compensation Disclosure/h3pThe rate of pay for this position is $20.00/hour.
