Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living

Unit Details: - Combined ICU/stepdown unit with ICU patients monitored by teleICU 24/7 in addition to admitting providers unless they sign off overnight. - Patient ratios: ICU 1:2-3 depending on acuity; stepdown 1:4. - Unit can take balloon pump patients, though they are typically not assigned to travelers. - Arctic Sun is available but not commonly used. - Monitor tech/TeleTech and unit clerk coverage available 24/7. - Patient care techs are utilized based on census, and sitters are available as needed. - Uses Spacelab bedside monitors for both ICU and stepdown. - Overflow patients may be assigned on both units.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
