Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner

Elevate patient care as an Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner with AHS at the U of A Hospital. Lead health services while ensuring safety, quality, and comfort for patients. As an NP in the Emergency Department, you will provide a comprehensive range of health services across various demographics. Using your advanced clinical skills, you'll assess, diagnose, and manage patient care while advocating for them in critical situations. Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities will be essential, especially in navigating emergency department flow and supporting patient investigations. Key Responsibilities: • Provide quality care in the Emergency Department setting • Assess and diagnose patients using critical thinking techniques • Manage EMS off-loaded patients awaiting care • Initiate investigations and prescribe treatments accurately • Educate and advocate for patients and families Requirements: • Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner program • Active registration with CRNA on the NP Registrar • Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider certification • Current knowledge in adult medical presentations • Commitment to ongoing education and certifications Utilize your skills in nursing and medicine to better serve the community as an NP at AHS. #J-18808-Ljbffr
