A law firm is looking for a dynamic Administrative Manager to join their team. This position will lead administrative professionals, overseeing administrative teams and be a liaison between the attorneys and staff.

Onsite: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:30am - 5pm

Salary: 120k - 140k base

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise administrative services within a professional services environment, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality support.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and partners to address support needs and optimize administrative workflows.
  • Oversee staffing assignments, ensuring balanced workloads and appropriate resource allocation.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance management to administrative staff, fostering professional growth and compliance with firm guidelines.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for new hires within the administrative team.
  • Manage attendance, leave requests, and overtime approvals using firm software to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions to maintain alignment and address concerns.
  • Participate in cross-office initiatives, including training material creation and troubleshooting filing issues.
  • Maintain department records and assist in various administrative projects to support organizational goals.
  • Supervise Practice Coordinators and Practice Assistants, ensuring effective support for attorneys and partners.
  • Collaborate with senior management to address staffing needs and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes for administrative team members.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates and gather feedback on operational matters.
  • Participate in cross-office initiatives, including training and troubleshooting administrative processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive department records and assist in various projects to support organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures through effective documentation and oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience in a professional services environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in legal support or administrative services, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of litigation filing procedures and administrative processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with advanced document formatting and editing skills.
  • Excellent written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with all levels of firm personnel.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to handle a wide range of administrative challenges.
  • Experience in conducting performance evaluations and managing team development.
