Compensation:

$30 - $35 hourly

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities in This Role

• Provide chairside support to dentists and hygienists across a range of procedures
• Anticipate provider needs by preparing instruments, materials, and trays in advance
• Set up and break down operatories with a strong focus on efficiency and infection control protocols
• Capture digital X-rays and assist with intraoral scanning when needed
• Accurately document patient care and support real-time charting (chairside scribing)
• Help coordinate a smooth clinical flow across multiple providers and operatories
• Enhance patient comfort through clear communication and a reassuring chairside presence
• Maintain equipment, instruments, and inventory to ensure daily operational readiness

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience for Success in This Role

• At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant in a general dentistry setting
• Proficiency with dental practice management systems (EagleSoft experience highly preferred)
• Active RDA license with current X-ray and Coronal Polishing certifications
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable and comfortable assisting multiple providers throughout the day
• Experience with, or willingness to learn, chairside charting and clinical scribing
• High attention to detail with the ability to listen, assist, and document simultaneously
• Dependable team player with a consistent and proactive approach to responsibilities
• Effective communication skills with a calm, professional chairside presence
