This position is responsible for performing the primary function of a Registered Nurse assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of Our House residents and providing direct care to the residents as well as environmental care of the facility./ppThis is a Part-Time (0.8 FTE) role working at Our House in SE Portland. The schedule for this role is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 2:30pm-11:00pm./ppStarting pay is $45.95 an hour with night shift differential of $1.00. The Nurses pay increases with tenure and the top of the pay scale is $49.80. This is a union represented position, so the compensation, benefits and conditions of work are collectively bargained./ph3Who You Are/h3ulliUnencumbered nursing license in the state of Oregon/liliBasic Life Support card/liliAbility to pass DHS background check./liliCPR certified or the ability to become certified within 30 days./liliComputer proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, EMAR) and working knowledge of the internet./liliAbility to effectively collaborate with colleagues in a professional environment to best serve the needs of the residents./li/ulh3What Youll Do/h3ulliPerforms nursing procedures in accordance with licensure and skill level, utilizing principles of safety and infection control./liliAbility to explain treatments and conditions to patients of all ages and diverse populations./liliProvides assistance with activities of daily living./liliExcellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail/liliWorks in collaboration with residents primary care provider, clinical staff, and support system./liliAdministers and documents medications and treatments using electronic medication administration records./li/ulpAt Cascade AIDS Project, we believe in unlocking potential.
