Job Overview:
Azazie Retail is seeking a professional, dependable, and hardworking Pop-up Event Operation Assistant to support retail event logistics and execution. This is a highly hands-on role that requires frequent travel, physical stamina, weekend availability, and a team-first attitude. The position is ideal for someone who is flexible, safety-conscious, and ready to step in wherever needed to help ensure each event runs smoothly.
This role also requires driving responsibilities. The selected candidate must hold a valid driver's license and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, compliance, punctuality, and operational excellence. The Pop-up Event Operation Assistant will travel between cities to support event operations, transport goods and equipment safely and efficiently, and assist with event setup and breakdown.
*Must be comfortable with frequent travel and weekend work.*
*Working schedule: Thursday - Monday*
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles, including a 26-foot box truck or smaller company vehicles, to and from event locations
- Follow all applicable U.S. Department of Transportation hours-of-service requirements.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Plan efficient travel routes to support on-time deliveries and fuel efficiency.
- Load, secure, and transport cargo to ensure all items are protected during transit.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with commercial vehicle safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch or supervisors regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit.
- Assist with unloading merchandise, materials, and equipment at event locations.
- Support event setup, tear-down, and other on-site operational activities.
- Assist with re-racking and merchandise organization throughout each event as needed.
- Interact with customers in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
- Provide general operational support wherever needed to help ensure a successful event experience.

Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to travel between multiple cities as part of pop-up event schedules.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience operating straight trucks is a plus
- Previous customer service experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse operations, or general labor is preferred
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow direction from supervisors
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, and late evenings as needed
- Solid knowledge of U.S. road safety regulations and commercial driving best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform physically demanding work, including repeatedly lifting items up to 75 pounds

Physical Requirements:
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance and color vision.
