Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Buyer based in Grand Rapids, MI. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, negotiating vendor contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, tracking purchase orders, maintaining detailed records, and optimizing procurement strategies to meet company objectives. The Buyer will also collaborate with various teams to align purchasing goals with business requirements and ensure cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Purchasing, negotiation, and vendor management skills
• Inventory management and supply chain knowledge
• Analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail
• Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred
