About the Position

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) | Nights | 13 Weeks | Washington

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor & Delivery assignment at a well-established acute care facility in Washington. This is a 13-week night shift opportunity for candidates who are confident in high-acuity L&D environments and comfortable working independently in deliveries and C-sections.

Unit Highlights

• 34-bed L&D/Mother Baby unit
• 2 dedicated OR suites for C-sections
• 14 postpartum beds
• Approximately 150–180 births per month
• Free charge nurse on both shifts
• 24/7 in-house OB hospitalist, anesthesia, and neonatal support

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Independently attend deliveries and circulate in C-sections
• Assist with newborn transition and low-risk deliveries
• Administer and titrate drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience
• Prior travel experience required (No first-time travelers)
• Must have strong LDRP experience
• Comfortable with postpartum couplet care
• Experience circulating C-sections required
• Must be able to attend deliveries independently

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• Intermediate or Advanced FHM preferred
