Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (New Westminster)

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with solid expertise in Playwright for web test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands‐on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and a good understanding of modern AI-driven testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Design and execute functional, regression, and end-to-end test automation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with MCP (Model Context Protocol) based integrations and testing workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA stakeholders to ensure software quality.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and automation solutions to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Test Automation.
• Strong hands‐on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) concepts and integrations.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI tools, AI-assisted testing, or AI automation workflows.
• Experience with API testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with performance or security testing.
