Do you live in Arkansas or Utah and are looking for remote work? Then this job is for you! We are looking for a part time, FULLY REMOTE claims admin staff member to join our team. This role does have room for growth into a full time position. Under general supervision, provides effective, efficient, and accurate assistance to the claims manager. Must be available to work 8am - 5pm Mountain time. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sending out letters for coverage files and addressing any questions that insureds, claimants, or attorneys may have
  • Take recorded statements from our insured, claimant and witnesses to gather pertinent information as needed by management
  • Send notifications to underwriting when additional info is found
  • Setting up/assigning new claims
  • Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality
  • Assisting on litigated files, including paying invoices, follow up calls with attorneys, noting incoming mail, alerting adjuster when something warrants attention, etc
  • Assisting with subro files, including follow up with attorneys, vendor's invoices, noting & updating files, etc
  • Assisting with salvage (IAA) invoices
  • Responding to closed mail
  • Transferring files as needed: entering transfer notes, updating adjuster codes, general transfer review
  • Closed file reviews: ensuring adjusters have entered everything to close a file properly, including closing note, all info entered, letters sent, fault codes correct, etc
  • Reports: run weekly production, ADI FIST, and EOM reports
  • Assume other responsibilities as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must live in Arkansas or Utah.
  • Must be bilingual, English/Spanish.
  • Familiarity with adjusting auto claims a plus!
  • Capability to train and perform the job remotely & meet our work from home requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using claims management software and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
