Fleet Technician II - Swing Shift, Heavy-Duty Repair Mentor

The City of Surprise is seeking a skilled technician to perform journey‐level repairs and maintenance on a wide range of automotive and heavy equipment. The incumbent will assist Fleet Technicians III with fire pumpers and special apparatus and mentor Fleet Technicians I on solid waste vehicles, construction gear, bucket trucks, and other heavy‐duty applications.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and substantial journey‐level experience, plus a valid CDL Class B or higher and EPA 609
