Procurement Buyer at Metrolinx

Elevate procurement processes with Metrolinx as a Buyer in the Greater Golden Horseshoe. You'll coordinate various purchasing activities while providing critical navigational support for internal clients.
As a Buyer under the Senior Portfolio Manager, you will oversee low dollar value procurements and facilitate the creation of tenders in Oracle. Your tasks will also encompass liaising with clients, reviewing procurement policies, and participating in strategic meetings for effective assignment handling.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct purchasing activities for specified goods and services
• Create and administer tender events in Oracle EBS
• Coordinate site visits and prepare quotation documents
• Guide clients on the 2nd stage procurement process
• Prepare and amend purchase orders effectively

Requirements:

• University degree in business, supply chain, or related field
• Two years of procurement process experience
• Knowledge of purchasing principles and practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
