Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical ICU (MICU)
Facility: Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP)
Health System: University of Pennsylvania Health System

Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Dates: December 15, 2025 – March 14, 2026
Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week (Guaranteed)

Job Description:
The MICU RN provides critical care to acutely ill patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced intensive care environment. The role requires flexibility, strong critical-thinking abilities, and experience working on contract or travel assignments.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent MICU experience (travel/contract experience preferred)
• Ability to work all scheduled night shifts throughout the 13-week contract

Required Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS

Compliance Requirements (must be current):

• Background check and drug screen
• Immunizations (COVID-19, Influenza, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap)
• TB screening
• Skills checklist and competency exams
• License, employment, and education verification
• References and updated resume

Additional Notes:

• Every other weekend required
• Must commit to the full contract duration
