This full-time position is primarily remote, providing you with flexibility in your working hours while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our community health clinic operates from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, allowing for adaptable scheduling to accommodate each counselor's preferred hours. We ensure that our counselors can manage their caseload effectively without the pressure of required on-call shifts or high-stress situations. Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Oasis Mental Clinic, you will:

Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' backgrounds and trauma histories.
Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and enhancing resilience through evidence-based strategies.
Employ therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group sessions.
Facilitate therapeutic workshops and support groups to promote healing and coping strategies among clients.
Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated treatment for patients.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms.
Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, adhering to best practices in documentation.
Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care innovations and strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing various trauma-related disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with adults, youths, and couples, providing tailored treatment that respects each client's unique context and needs. We particularly value candidates who are willing to engage with couples, as we provide training for therapists in this area. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution and possess a current and valid licensure as an LCPC in Illinois. You will be expected to have:

A strong expertise in trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering compassionate, client-centered care.
The ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
Proficient knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology.
Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Experience
While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we encourage passionate therapists with relevant certifications and dedication to learning to apply.
