JOB SUMMARY:
Genesis Consulting is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Training Lead with a passion for growth and business transformation. The Training Lead will be responsible for the design and delivery of end-user and project team training for a large-scale technology implementation. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in conducting training needs analyses, developing role-based and configuration-specific training content, and ensuring effective knowledge transfer to support adoption and long-term system sustainability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Conduct training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and define role-based training strategies for project teams, end users, and support staff.
· Develop comprehensive training plans and core team documentation aligned to project milestones and PPS-specific system configurations.
· Design and produce end-user training materials, guides, and job aids tailored to PPS business processes and user roles.
· Partner with the PPS project manager and business leads to develop and align training schedules with implementation and cutover timelines.
· Train the core project team, client-designated trainers, and change management champions on end-user training delivery techniques and content.
· Deliver formal end-user training sessions, including "day-in-the-life" scenarios and tiered support models for business process owners at schools and decentralized locations.
· Ensure timely and effective knowledge transfer to PPS teams to support post-implementation operations and long-term sustainment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of 5+ years of experience leading training efforts for enterprise system implementations, technology modernization, or large-scale business transformation initiatives, specifically for PeopleSoft, Oracle, and Workday.
· Demonstrated experience conducting training needs analyses and developing comprehensive, role-based training strategies and plans.
· Proven ability to design and deliver end-user training content, documentation, and job aids tailored to client-specific configurations and business processes.
· Experience training core project teams, designated trainers, and change management champions using train-the-trainer and knowledge transfer approaches.
· Hands-on experience delivering formal end-user training, including scenario-based ("day-in-the-life") learning and tiered support models for decentralized organizations such as schools or field offices.
· Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with project managers and business leads to align training schedules with implementation timelines and cutover activities.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
· Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Information Systems, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
