  • Prepare patients for medical evaluation: vital signs, medication reconciliation, EKGs, phlebotomy, and assisting with medical history forms.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate pre-admission needs, obtain consents, and prepare charts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through front office duties- including phone support, patient greeting, and supply inventory.
  • Act as a liaison to coordinate care: request records, track progress, gather clinical information, and prepare reports.
  • Support medical staff by monitoring patient status, performing routine procedures, and documenting accurately in the EMR.
  • Administer injectable medications per LMP delegation and monitor patient response.
  • Participate as a valued member of the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Conduct PPD testing and urinalysis collections with rapid toxicology screening.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to crisis or emergency situations.
  • Maintain clinical equipment and ensure a safe, clean, compliant environment.

Specialized OTP Responsibilities

  • Safely dispense OUD medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
  • Follow all OTP protocols, Physician Order Sets, and program policy and procedures.
  • Evaluate medical stability of established patients and elevate concerns to licensed medical staff.
  • Deliver patient care activities within scope, supporting the treatment plan and patient goals.
