Job Title: Electrical Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to perform conduit bending and installation, read and interpret blue prints, work on power distribution, switch gear, and terminations. The ideal candidate will be adept at running BX and MC cable, troubleshooting, and wiring panels.
Responsibilities
- Perform rough-in work and interpret rough-in prints
- Install conduit, switch gear, and terminations
- Run BX and MC cable and perform roughing
- Troubleshoot and wire panels
- Bend pipe and conduit, including overhead conduit and table bending
- Install Kindorf racks and perform service work
- Pull service wire, MC, and BX cable
- Install outlets, switches, splicing cable, boxes, and panels
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and conduit bending
- Experience with overhead conduit, table bending, and service work
- Ability to install Kindorf racks and perform service work
- Experience pulling service wire and installing outlets and switches
- 8+ years of commercial electrical experience
- SST 10-hour certification
- OSHA 30 certification
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment
All project start times are at 7:00am. You must sign in and out each day with the foremen and have all your PPE, tools, SST, and OSHA 30 certifications on hand at all times. Projects are local to NYC, and candidates will be evaluated based on technical ability, attitude, task completion speed, and confidence to work independently.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
