A multi-billion dollar private credit firm in New York is hiring an Associate for its investment team. The firm provides flexible financing to U.S. middle market companies across situations including growth, acquisitions, operational turnarounds, and stressed or distressed scenarios.

Responsibilities:

Underwrite and analyze new investment opportunities and present them to Investment Committee
Support sourcing and screening of direct and syndicated loan opportunities
Run due diligence and documentation, working closely with third-party advisors and legal counsel
Monitor portfolio companies and report on performance
Build relationships across investment banks, restructuring advisors, PE sponsors, and law firms

Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in investment banking, direct lending, or restructuring
Strong analytical, modeling, and attention-to-detail skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
A proactive, collaborative team player eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
