In this position, you will create and produce original stories that resonate with local audiences and reflect their voices. This role emphasizes collaboration with colleagues to ensure comprehensive coverage and represents typically underrepresented voices in media. Key Responsibilities: • Generate and pitch story ideas for multiple platforms • Quickly respond to breaking news stories as they arise • Establish and maintain connections with community members • Work with colleagues to coordinate coverage and features • Adhere to high journalistic standards in all reporting Requirements: • Journalism degree or equivalent with three years' experience • Superior skills in writing, editing, and packaging content • Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required • Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary Shape the narrative of Saskatchewan as part of the CBC team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
