Core Duties:

Conduct patient examinations, health screenings, and assessments for acute and chronic conditions.
Develop differential diagnoses and order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests.
Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
Prescribe medications and immunizations in accordance with approved protocols.
Recognize emergency or complex conditions and arrange appropriate physician referral.
Perform approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Provide telephone consultations and patient/family education.
Promote preventive care, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in staff meetings, case reviews, continuing education, and quality improvement activities.
